NY Review: Fat Cat

In meeting with some of my husband’s coworkers, we found ourselves at Fat Cat in West village. On first glance, it appears a totally dive, but as you stick around, you realize just how cool this place really is.

Booths with checkers, chess, and scrabble

Tons of ping pong, shuffle board, pool, and fooseball.

And the best part is the variety of music acts they have coming in on a daily basis. When we were there we had live classical Indian, but they have a rotating schedule that includes a little bit of everything ensuring frat boys, hipsters, hippies, and book nerds all mingle cohesively.
